All About the 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Trims

The Classic Lives On

The Ram 1500 Classic, which is the body style that the truck maker supposedly discontinued in 2019, continues to live on in 2021 with three attractive trim levels for drivers who love the fourth-generation styling.

Along with the Ram 1500 Classic, the manufacturer offers the Ram 1500 that is regularly named a top pick in its class for its styling, ride, and standard equipment. At Gill CDJR, we offer both the Ram 1500 Classic and the fifth-generation Ram 1500 in all their trim levels.

Configurations in 2021 Ram 1500 Classic

The 2021 Ram 1500 Classic trims include the Tradesman, Express, and Warlock. The Tradesman and Express come standard with a two-door Regular Cab as well as a 6’4” box. The Warlock features the four-door Quad Cab and the 6’4” box. Buyers can change the cab configurations on all of the trims. Tradesman configurations include the Quad Cab or Crew Cab as with all three box choices that include the standard 6’4” and the 5’7” or 8’0”. On the Express, buyers can do the same, but without the option to add the long box. The Warlock is only available with the standard Quad Cab or the Crew Cab with a 5’7” box.

While many of the fifth-generation trims come with luxurious features, the 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Tradesman and Express both come with a vinyl bench seat for three. The Warlock comes with two cloth-covered bench seats with room for six. All three trims come with an LCD panel that includes wireless phone connectivity, an AM/FM radio, and six speakers.

Fifth-Generation Ram 1500 Trim Levels Explained

The 2021 Ram 1500 comes in several well-equipped, comfortable trims. The fifth-generation Tradesman is still the best choice for people who need a reliable and comfortable work truck. But, the standard trim comes with seating for six with minimal features. The Tradesman HFE adds some refined features like a hybrid engine and upgraded wheels.

Drivers who are looking for a more luxurious ride can start with the Ram 1500 Big Horn trim that includes cloth-covered bench seating for six with attractive exterior styling. The Laramie trim includes leather seating for six with heated and ventilated front seats, along with upgraded interior features like 10 speakers, shiny chrome exterior trim, an optional sunroof, and heated side mirrors. The Rebel trim adds sporty exterior trim with cloth seats for five with a large console in the front.

For more luxury, buyers can choose the Limited Longhorn or the Limited trim. The Limited Longhorn has heated and ventilated leather seating for five, voice-activated navigation, and front and rear parking sensors. The Limited is fully loaded with leather seating, power-adjustable pedals, and blind-spot monitoring. Finally, the TRX takes the Ram 1500 to the next level. It’s loaded with interior features, but the most noteworthy addition is the standard 6.2-liter Hemi V8 engine that delivers 702 horsepower.

The other 2021 Ram 1500 models come standard with rear-wheel drive, a 3.6-liter V6, an eight-speed automatic transmission, a four-door Quad Cab, and either a 6’4” or 5’7” box.
